Gateway Travel Enterprise, LLC is a St. Louis–based travel agency dedicated to creating meaningful, memorable, and stress-free travel experiences. Inspired by the Gateway Arch — a symbol of possibility, movement, and new horizons — we help travelers step confidently into adventures that enrich their lives.
My Passion for Travel
Travel isn’t just something I enjoy — it’s a part of who I am. Long before Gateway Travel Enterprise had a name, I was the person in my circle who everyone turned to for trip planning. That instinct to research, organize, and create seamless experiences for the people I care about is what eventually became a business.
My planning roots include:
- Couples’ destination trips to Costa Rica, Jamaica, Turks & Caicos, and the Dominican Republic
- A 10-person family cruise vacation sailing from Tampa, visiting Virginia Beach/Norfolk, Delaware, Maryland, New York, and New Jersey — coordinating logistics for multiple generations across five ports
- A European cruise spanning 7 destinations, where I independently researched and identified hotels, restaurants, and attractions at each port — including overnight stays in Rome and Athens
- International travel to Dubai, Thailand, Curaçao, Aruba, and beyond
- Domestic travel across California, Washington D.C., Tennessee, Illinois, Georgia, Texas, and throughout Florida
Each of these experiences deepened my destination knowledge, sharpened my planning instincts, and gave me a traveler’s perspective I bring to every client itinerary. I know what it feels like to step off a plane in a new country, navigate an unfamiliar city, and discover something unexpected — and I want every client to feel that same sense of wonder, without any of the stress.
Why I Started Gateway Travel
Gateway Travel Enterprise was established in 2019, the natural evolution of years spent planning meaningful trips for myself, couples, family groups, and friends. What began as a personal passion had quietly become a skill — and formalizing it as a business felt like the right next step.
When the COVID-19 pandemic paused the travel industry, I used the time intentionally. In 2020, I earned a Hospitality & Tourism Management Executive Certificate from Florida Atlantic University — deepening my industry knowledge and sharpening the professional foundation I was building.
The relaunch in 2025 was sparked by a personal milestone. While planning my own 50th birthday trip, I connected with a fellow travel agent who — after seeing the detailed itinerary I had already built — encouraged me to plan it myself. That moment of recognition reignited everything. I’ve been booking, learning, and growing ever since.
What started as a love of travel has become a mission: to help others experience the world with confidence, ease, and joy.
